1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using FuelFind ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App. We may update these terms from time to time, and continued use constitutes acceptance of changes.

2. Description of Service

FuelFind is a community-powered platform that provides real-time fuel availability information at fuel stations. The service relies on user-submitted reports (votes) and does not guarantee the accuracy of any fuel availability data. FuelFind is an informational tool, not a definitive source of fuel supply data.

3. User Accounts

  • You may browse the map and search stations without an account.
  • Submitting votes requires authentication via phone OTP, Google, or Apple sign-in.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and device.
  • One account per person. Creating multiple accounts to manipulate votes is prohibited.

4. Voting Rules

  • Votes must reflect genuine, first-hand observations of fuel availability.
  • You must be within 500 metres of a station to submit a vote (GPS-verified).
  • You may vote once per station per 30 minutes.
  • Deliberately submitting false reports may result in account suspension and trust score reduction.
  • Automated or bot-driven voting is strictly prohibited.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service to harass, abuse, or harm other users.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the App.
  • Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access the service without authorisation.
  • Interfere with the security or integrity of the service.
  • Use the App while driving. Always pull over to a safe location before interacting with your phone.

6. Intellectual Property

The FuelFind name, logo, app design, and all associated content are the property of FuelFind Ltd. Station data sourced from OpenStreetMap is used under the ODbL licence. User-submitted votes are licensed to FuelFind for the purpose of operating the service.

7. Limitation of Liability

FuelFind is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of fuel availability data. FuelFind shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to wasted fuel, missed appointments, or vehicle damage.

8. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, submit fraudulent votes, or engage in abusive behaviour. You may delete your account at any time through the app (Profile > Delete Account). Account deletion is permanent and GDPR compliant.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the applicable laws of the jurisdiction in which you reside. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation, and if unresolved, through binding arbitration or the courts of competent jurisdiction in your region.
